Job Description
Job title: Training Analyst Role Summary: Responsible for conducting DSAT‐aligned Training Needs Analyses (TNA) to identify performance gaps and recommend training or non‑training solutions across a defence‑focused organization. Manage changes to Integrated Training Solutions (ITS) resulting from specification, policy, regulatory, or organizational shifts, and consolidate evaluation data from submarine training courses to inform governance and issue resolution. Expactations: - Deliver comprehensive end‑to‑end TNA reports following DSAT guidelines. - Engage SMEs and stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and consultations to validate tasks and performance requirements. - Translate analysis into design requirements for DSAT Stage 3, guiding instructional designers. - Maintain compliance with DSAT, audit, and regulatory standards throughout the process. - Hold an active security clearance. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct DSAT‑aligned TNA, identifying performance gaps, role requirements, and evidence‑based solutions. - Interview SMEs and stakeholders, run workshops, and consult to validate operational tasks. - Translate TNA outputs into design requirements for Stage 3 of DSAT, supporting delivery method decisions. - Consolidate and analyse evaluation data from submarine training courses. - Produce recommendation reports for governance and issue resolution. - Ensure all documentation meets DSAT, audit, and regulatory standards. - Participate in continuous improvement of training processes. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Experience with DSAT methodology and Integrated Training Solutions. - Ability to conduct needs analyses, interviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagement. - Excellent written and verbal communication; report writing. - Familiarity with training evaluation and data analysis. - Detail‑oriented documentation and compliance focus. Required Education & Certifications: - Post‑secondary qualification in Human Resources, Training & Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field. - DSAT certification or equivalent experience. - Current active security clearance.
