Job title: Healthcare Network Engineer Technician Role Summary: Provide onsite network support for a multi‑facility healthcare environment, handling routine device maintenance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and collaborating with cybersecurity and operations teams. Expectations: - Maintain rapid response to onsite hardware and networking incidents. - Operate within a rotating schedule, traveling to multiple facilities across Massachusetts as required. - Deliver expert hands‑on support, ensuring minimal downtime for critical healthcare services. Key Responsibilities: - Perform device reboots, module reseeding, and resolve local API issues. - Provide physical intervention for remote‑monitored environments using Cisco tools. - Repair, replace, and maintain networking hardware on site. - Collaborate with full‑time engineers to manage cybersecurity events and daily operations. - Travel to various clinics and hospitals for maintenance and emergency support. - Document all interventions and coordinate with centralized monitoring teams for status updates. Required Skills: - Proficient in Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls). - Experience with API troubleshooting and device management. - Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software network components. - Ability to perform hands‑on repairs and physical maintenance in a clinical setting. - Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and incident response. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. - Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently. Expectations: Proven experience in healthcare industry security compliance (HIPAA). Workday Security Certification required. Proficiency in role-based access control, security testing, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Design, configure, and maintain Workday security for HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Benefits modules. - Manage role-based, domain, business process, and user-level security, including audit support and testing. - Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and Compliance teams to resolve access issues and implement least-privilege models. - Validate security impacts during Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations; perform regression testing. - Enforce compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal security policies.
