**Job Title:** Business Development Manager – Technical Sales (Medical Devices) **Role Summary:** Drive consultative B2B sales of complex medical and engineered solutions to hospitals, operating theatres, contractors, consultants, end‑users, and channel partners. Build long‑term, value‑led relationships and expand market presence within the healthcare sector. **Expectations:** - Achieve sales targets to reach an OTE of £65‑75k. - Manage a sales pipeline from lead generation through contract closure. - Represent the company professionally in both remote (home‑office) and on‑site client interactions. - Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the medical and surgical equipment market. - Conduct needs‑based consultative presentations and demonstrations of technical products. - Negotiate contracts and pricing structures with hospitals, contractors, and channel partners. - Cultivate and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers. - Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and service teams to ensure solution alignment with client requirements. - Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy. **Required Skills:** - Proven B2B consultative selling experience, preferably in medical devices or technical solutions. - Strong understanding of complex, engineered products and their application in clinical settings. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities. - Ability to translate technical specifications into business value for diverse stakeholders. - Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset and ability to work independently. - Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant sales or medical device certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
