Job Description
Job title: HR & HSE Manager Role Summary: Oversees health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, off‑boarding, and employee wellness initiatives. Expactations: Deliver integrated HR and HSE solutions that promote safety, compliance, and employee engagement; lead cross‑functional teams to implement best practices; maintain accurate records and reports; support organizational growth through strategic workforce planning. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and audit HSE policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards. - Lead recruitment, pre‑screening, onboarding, and off‑boarding processes for all staff, ensuring a seamless experience. - Design and manage occupational health programs, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions. - Provide guidance to hiring managers on personnel selection, compensation planning for mid‑ to senior‑level roles, and employee development. - Conduct safety training, drills, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Compile and report HSE metrics, incident statistics, and compliance status to senior management. - Coordinate with external regulators, auditors, and industry groups on safety matters. Required Skills: - In‑depth knowledge of HSE regulations, occupational health frameworks, and EHS compliance. - Proven experience in full‑cycle recruiting and talent acquisition. - Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines. - Competence in designing compensation structures for mid‑ to senior‑level positions. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPHR, OSHA Safety Representative, Certified Safety Professional) preferred.
