Job Title: Innovation & Technology Corporate Internship – Information Security & Technology Solutions
Role Summary:
An 11‑week full‑time data science internship focused on building AI‑driven data solutions, advanced security frameworks, cloud integration, and automation for enterprise technology transformation within a healthcare organization. The role supports the Information Security & Technology Solutions (ISTS) team and provides hands‑on experience with NLP, LLM, RAG systems, and data‑science pipelines.
Expectations:
- Apply graduate‑level knowledge of data science, machine learning, and security to real‑world projects.
- Demonstrate proactive engagement, self‑direction, and continuous learning of emerging GenAI technologies.
- Collaborate across cross‑functional teams, communicate findings clearly, and contribute to professional development sessions.
- Prepare to transition into a full‑time role post‑graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and validate NLP and ML models (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Build and maintain RAG systems, manage memory, routing, and moderation of LLM outputs.
- Engineer data pipelines: ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and integration of sensor, cyber‑security, or IoT data.
- Create dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js) to enable actionable insights.
- Deploy solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerize using Docker.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies; contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
- Document processes and share knowledge with the ISTS team.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming in Python, R, or SQL.
- ML frameworks: scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch; NLP libraries: NLTK, spaCy, Stanford CoreNLP.
- LLM development with RAG, agent memory, routing, moderation.
- Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
- Cloud expertise (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Docker containerization.
- Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; teamwork and collaboration.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Graduate student in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Engineering.
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Expected graduation between September 2026 and August 2027.
- No additional certifications required.
