**Job Title** Security Engineer **Role Summary** Serve as a technical information security subject matter expert within the Technology team, responsible for protecting the firm’s information systems, data, and cloud environments. Work across firewall, VPN, load balancing, XDR, vulnerability, and incident response domains to maintain security posture and compliance. **Expectations** - Deliver continuous monitoring and rapid response to security incidents. - Develop and enforce security policies consistent with industry best practices. - Lead technology refreshes and vendor management to enhance security and efficiency. - Participate in on‑call rotation and provide 24/7 incident response support. - Engage with internal and external stakeholders professionally and proactively. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage IDS/IPS, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers; develop configuration and maintenance plans. - Conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management, and security testing of cloud and on‑prem systems. - Identify, triage, and resolve security alerts; coordinate incident response activities. - Perform routine security assessments and support client‑specific external audits. - Draft security documentation, policy updates, and KPI reports. - Maintain relationships with security vendors; evaluate and recommend new technologies. - Continually assess and improve security processes, ensuring compliance with certifications and regulatory requirements. **Required Skills** - 5+ years experience in information security engineering. - Hands‑on expertise with Palo Alto Networks suite, Tenable vulnerability management, and cloud security architectures. - Proficiency in XDR, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and IDS/IPS operations. - Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Collaborative team player with customer‑service orientation. - Adaptability to changing priorities and incident‑response demands. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent. - Availability for on‑call duties and domestic/international travel.
