**Job Title:** National Sales Manager, Audio Visual **Role Summary:** Lead national sales efforts for a full‑service AV production company, expanding the client base and driving revenue growth across tradeshows, corporate events, and conferences. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closed‑won, ensuring accurate proposals, profitable bookings, and a 10% year‑over‑year increase in existing business. **Expectations:** - Achieve annual sales revenue of $1.5 M–$3 M. - Secure new contracts valued at $150 K or more. - Grow booked existing business by at least 10% each year. - Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting in Salesforce. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify, qualify, and pursue new AV business opportunities through outreach, networking, and industry events. - Conduct needs assessments and develop customized proposals aligned with client objectives. - Collaborate with Project Managers and estimators to produce accurate, competitive scopes and quotes. - Manage leads, accounts, and opportunities in Salesforce (or similar CRM) with timely updates. - Track and report sales metrics, market trends, and competitive intelligence; adjust strategies accordingly. - Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations. - Ensure all contracts meet profitability targets and operational feasibility. **Required Skills:** - Proven record of generating and closing AV sales in the events/tradeshow sector. - Strong prospecting, negotiation, and deal‑closing abilities. - Proficiency with Salesforce CRM; experience with Intellievent or comparable quoting software preferred. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to deliver compelling presentations and proposals. - Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines. - Self‑motivated, results‑driven, with a collaborative team mindset. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience. - Relevant sales or AV industry certifications are a plus (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional, AVIXA CTS).
