Job Description
**Job Title** Indirect Purchasing Manager **Role Summary** Lead the indirect procurement function, driving cost optimisation and supplier excellence across the organisation. Supervise a team of two buyers, manage the full purchase cycle from needs analysis to contract finalisation, and align procurement strategy with business objectives. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable cost savings and process efficiencies. - Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures. - Build strong supplier relationships and maintain high standards of quality, delivery, and risk management. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyse internal demand from business units and develop procurement solutions. - Design and execute RFx processes: launch, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and award contracts. - Lead supplier rationalisation efforts, consolidating the vendor base and enhancing performance. - Create and monitor KPIs (cost, quality, lead‑time, internal customer satisfaction). - Negotiate commercial terms to secure optimal pricing, service levels, and contractual conditions. - Track contract performance, resolve disputes, and implement corrective actions. - Scout and evaluate new suppliers, incorporating technology and innovation into sourcing decisions. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (finance, operations, IT) to ensure seamless procurement alignment. **Required Skills** - Proven expertise in indirect procurement and supplier management. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision‑making capabilities. - Experience with RFx tools and contract management systems. - Ability to manage cross‑functional initiatives and influence at all levels. - Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and spoken). - Proactive problem‑solving mindset and continuous improvement focus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement experience (indirect focus). - Procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
