**Job Title**
QC, Process and CI Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead quality assurance/control, process engineering, and continuous improvement functions on a manufacturing site to achieve safe, reliable, and cost‑efficient production that meets or exceeds customer and regulatory requirements. Manage QC/QA and process engineering teams, champion Lean/Six‑Sigma practices, and serve as the site process expert and quality representative.
**Expectations**
- Deliver measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and material efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with ISO and other national/international quality standards.
- Own and improve process performance metrics (yield, MME, RFT, cycle time, waste).
- Act as the primary liaison for quality audits, customer complaints, and regulatory bodies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead QC/QA functions: ensure finished goods, semi‑finished goods and raw materials meet specifications; conduct root‑cause analyses and corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage compliance: maintain SOPs, audit readiness, and closure of audit actions.
- Serve as site process expert: conduct impact assessments of changes, drive process improvements, interface with R&D, marketing, and central engineering.
- Oversee process safety: handle area classification, SIL, hazard studies, and calibration reliability.
- Champion CI culture: develop and lead Lean/ALPS/Six‑Sigma projects; use statistical tools (Green Belt or higher).
- Scope and support capital and process improvement projects: business case, commissioning, training, handover.
- Lead and develop teams: coach QC/QA and process engineers, promote continuous learning.
- Engage stakeholders: production, planning, procurement, supply chain, R&D, HSE, marketing, and external authorities.
- Conduct customer/supplier audits, packaging approvals, and regulatory interfaces.
**Required Skills**
- Strong leadership and coaching ability.
- Expertise in quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.).
- Proven experience in process engineering and continuous improvement (Lean/ALPS/Six‑Sigma).
- Knowledge of process safety principles and hazard studies.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis and problem‑solving methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in coatings or chemical manufacturing.
- Lean Six‑Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred).
- Experience in CI deployment (ALPS desirable).
