Own a key business domain’s architectural direction, design a modern cloud‑native microservices ecosystem, and drive legacy system modernization while establishing governance, standards, and best practices. **Expectations:** - Senior or Lead Solution Architect with 5+ years in regulated environments. - Proven expertise in Azure or AWS cloud platforms. - Deep experience in software engineering or related technical roles (dev, platform engineering, DevOps). - Ability to lead architecture design and implementation from concept to production. - Strong stakeholder engagement and communication at both technical and business levels. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and evolve domain architecture, including road‑maps and design decisions. - Lead migration of monolithic legacy systems to a microservices‑based cloud‑native stack. - Develop and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and governance processes. - Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient solutions. - Mentor and support a growing architecture community within the organization. - Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions with business objectives. - Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and operational policies. **Required Skills:** - Expert knowledge of Azure or AWS (compute, storage, networking, security). - Strong understanding of microservices, domain‑driven design, distributed systems, and integration patterns. - Hands‑on background in software development, platform engineering, or DevOps. - Proficiency in design patterns, system architecture, scalability, resilience, and security. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. - Effective communication of complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant cloud certification(s): - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional ---
