Job Description
Job title: Internal Communications Manager Role Summary: Lead strategic internal communications for corporate functions and business divisions, enhancing employee awareness, engagement, and positioning the organization as an Employer of Choice. Expectations: - Deliver consistent, effective messaging aligned with corporate and division objectives. - Measure impact through relevant KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly. - Collaborate across teams to support events, intranet, and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute communication plans for Marketing & Corporate Communications, HR, Finance, IT, Cyber Security, Risk, and Legal functions. - Write, edit, and approve all‑company emails, intranet copy, award submissions, and targeted messaging. - Produce visual assets (graphics, slide decks, videos) and maintain design consistency. - Manage the Workvivo intranet and other internal platforms, scheduling content via a communications calendar. - Support virtual and onsite employee events, including content creation and post‑event follow‑up. - Track project progress, deadlines, and deliverables using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com). - Compile engagement reports and present findings to stakeholders. Required Skills: - 5+ years of employee communications, public relations, or marketing experience in a corporate setting. - Excellent written and verbal communication; strong AP style knowledge. - Graphic design fluency; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office 365. - Experience with email marketing systems (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and intranet platforms (e.g., Workvivo). - Project management capability, including multi‑tasking and deadline adherence; familiarity with Monday.com or similar tools. - Analytical mindset with ability to set, track, and report on KPIs. - Collaborative, client‑focused approach with strong relationship‑building skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field. - No mandatory certifications; preferred experience in insurance or financial services markets.
