Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager – Applications Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end management of large, complex, high‑profile IT application projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, cost, and governance. Support PMO process improvements and mentor junior project managers. Expactations: • 5+ years managing application programs end‑to‑end. • Proven ability to oversee multi‑phase, high‑risk initiatives with stakeholder engagement. • Strong command of project deliverables, change, and risk controls. • Experience with advanced platforms (Salesforce, Workday) preferred; PMP certification a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed project plans, charters, schedules, budgets, risk and issue logs, and communication plans. - Define scope, objectives, success criteria and manage change requests, conflicts, and escalation. - Construct and maintain project documentation, close‑out reports, and lessons‑learned. - Negotiate vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with governance and quality standards. - Coordinate with resource managers and stakeholders to align project execution. - Produce regular status updates for PMO, steering committees, executives, and sponsors. - Mentor project team members and contractors, fostering professional growth. - Conduct post‑mortem reviews to capture improvement opportunities. - Maintain complete project archives and ensure compliance with documentation standards. Required Skills: • Project planning, scheduling and cost control. • Risk and change management. • Vendor negotiation and contract management. • High proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint). • Strong verbal and written communication. • Integrity, confidentiality, judgment, fairness and flexibility. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in  information technology, business administration, or related field. • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
