Job Description
Job Title: Project Intern – Facilities Role Summary: Support a short‑term, high‑impact project focused on creating a vetted vendor network across North America to reduce operational costs. Responsibilities include nationwide vendor outreach, qualification, onboarding, data management, and reporting. Part‑time, remote role lasting ~4 months with possible extension. Expactations: • Approximately 4 months of internship, extendable if program scale increases.  • Independent, self‑directed work in a remote environment.  • Regular communication with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Procurement, Finance).  • Attend weekly status meetings and support rollout planning. Key Responsibilities: • Research and identify commercial service vendors in the U.S. and Canada using online tools and contractor directories.  • Conduct outbound outreach (email, phone) to introduce program and gauge interest.  • Collect and validate vendor documentation (W‑9s, insurance certificates, rate sheets, onboarding forms).  • Maintain an organized vendor pipeline in Excel/SharePoint, tracking qualification status.  • Guide vendors through onboarding, ensuring all required documents are received and approved.  • Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, and Finance for vendor approval and setup.  • Track onboarding progress and prepare weekly reports on outreach volume, onboarding status, and market coverage.  • Assist in preparing materials for rollout planning and identifying coverage gaps.  • Provide feedback on outreach scripts, onboarding steps, and process bottlenecks; recommend improvements. Required Skills: • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable conducting outreach calls.  • High attention to detail and strong organizational/record‑keeping skills.  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams; SharePoint knowledge is a plus.  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.  • Basic understanding of vendor management, procurement, or operations processes. Required Education & Certifications: • Current undergraduate or recent graduate in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Communications, Project Management, Construction Administration, Facility Maintenance, or a related field.  • No mandatory certifications required.
