Job Description: **Job Title** Embedded Software Development Engineer – Defense & Security **Role Summary** Develop and commission embedded flight‑software for automotive test‑bench projects, enhance existing software platforms, generate client‑targeted libraries, and ensure quality through testing and documentation while collaborating with hardware teams. **Expectations** - Minimum 5 years of embedded software development experience. - Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively. - Technical proficiency in English (mandatory). - Eligibility for security clearance and electrical habilitation. **Key Responsibilities** - Participate in the design and architecture of embedded flight software. - Implement new features on the existing software platform. - Create and deliver libraries tailored to client hardware. - Conduct unit tests and validation activities; produce test reports and acceptance plans. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development platform. - Lead technical meetings with hardware engineers. **Required Skills** - Programming: C, C++, Python. - Operating System: Windows. - Unit testing and validation methodologies. - Technical documentation and reporting. - Strong problem‑solving and independent work capabilities. - Effective verbal and written communication in English. - Electrical habilitation and adherence to quality standards. **Required Education & Certifications** - Engineering degree (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Embedded Systems). - At least 5 years of relevant professional experience. - Electrical habilitation for defense/security projects (to be obtained/verified at hire).
