Job Title: Energy Engineering Intern
Job Description: Job Title: Energy Engineering Intern Role Summary: Provide technical support for demand-side management (DSM) program evaluation, performing energy analyses, data collection, and impact assessments to develop actionable recommendations. Expectations: - Current student in a Canadian post‑secondary STEAM or business program. - Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee status; legally entitled to work. - Consent to share placement details with EHRC and the Government of Canada. - Strong interest in sustainability and environmental impact. Key Responsibilities: - Collect primary and secondary data for energy projects. - Conduct energy analysis and measurement‑verification (EM&V) of installed efficiency measures. - Draft sections of technical reports, summarizing results and recommendations. - Prepare and support senior staff with presentations and documentation. - Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. - Complete additional duties as assigned. Required Skills: - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Strong written and oral communication. - Analytical thinking and data‑analysis capability. - Effective multitasking and organizational skills. - Knowledge or coursework in energy efficiency preferred. Required Education & Certifications: - Enrolled in a Canadian post‑secondary STEAM or business program. - No additional certifications required.
