Job title: Principal – AI Tech Ventures Role Summary: Own end‑to‑end deal lifecycle for high‑conviction AI, DeepTech, and media‑AI investments across Europe, from origination and due diligence to execution and portfolio oversight, while partnering closely with senior partners to shape strategy and leverage network depth. Expactations: - 6+ years in venture capital or corporate VC, potentially with operator‑investor hybrid experience. - Deep expertise in AI infrastructure, AI applications, DeepTech (semiconductors, cloud, cybersecurity, robotics, quantum). - Fluency in French or German preferred; additional European languages a plus. - Extensive network across DACH, Benelux, Nordics and broader European tech ecosystems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead sourcing and origination of AI and DeepTech deal flow across Europe. - Own full investment case development: market analysis, financial modeling, risk assessment, and recommendation. - Conduct rigorous due diligence, including technical review and valuation. - Negotiate and structure terms; coordinate transaction execution. - Drive portfolio engagement: strategy alignment, operational support, value creation initiatives, exit planning. - Collaborate with senior partners and teams to set investment theses and pipeline priorities. Required Skills: - Strong financial and analytical rigor; capability to build and own investment models. - Proven track record of sourcing high‑quality deals and maintaining a robust network. - Excellent communication skills—confidently presenting to senior stakeholders and operating teams. - Relationship‑driven, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mindset. - Bilingual (French/German) preferred; additional language skills advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, computer science, or related discipline. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, MBA, or VC-specific training) are a plus but not mandatory.
