Senior Hardware Systems Engineer
Job Description
Job title: Senior Hardware Systems Engineer Role Summary: Design, integrate, and validate RF and high-speed digital hardware subsystems for satellite communications platforms, leveraging experience in defense and electronic product development. Expectations: Lead complex hardware design efforts, ensure compliance with industry standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities: - Architect end-to-end RF and digital boards for satellite payloads, including signal integrity and power management. - Coordinate hardware, software, and mechanical integration to meet performance, reliability, and environmental requirements. - Develop design specifications, create schematics, PCB layouts, and generate bill of materials. - Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and define test plans for functional and stress validation. - Interface with firmware and software teams to validate signal paths and communication protocols. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing. Required Skills: - Deep knowledge of RF circuit design, high‑speed digital communication (Gbps-level) and mixed‑signal integration. - Proficiency with simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, Spectre, S‑parameter analysis) and PCB layout software (Cadence, Altium, Mentor Graphics). - Experience with design for manufacturability, conformal coatings, and military/defense quality standards (MIL‑STD, ITAR). - Strong problem‑solving, documentation, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field. - Minimum 5–7 years in defense or satellite communications hardware development. - Familiarity with ISO 9001, MIL‑STD, or equivalent certification requirements.

Lead Test Engineer - Electronics
Job Description
Job title: Lead Test Engineer – Electronics Role Summary: Lead the test engineering function in an electronic manufacturing environment, driving quality assurance and production efficiency through hands‑on expertise and team leadership. Expectations: Deliver reliable test solutions that reduce defects, ensure compliance with product specifications, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Inspire and mentor a multidisciplinary test team, promote a culture of quality and accountability, and collaborate with Design, Manufacturing and QA departments. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop and maintain test strategies, procedures and documentation for electronic assemblies. • Build and calibrate test fixtures, hardware and software for automated and manual test cycles. • Lead test execution, data capture and analysis; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. • Manage test equipment lifecycle – procurement, maintenance, and IP management. • Coordinate with manufacturing to improve process flow and reduce cycle time. • Mentor engineering staff, conduct performance reviews, and drive training on testing methodologies. • Ensure alignment with industry standards (IPC, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements. Required Skills: • Strong foundation in electronic test instrumentation and test methodology. • Proficiency in test system design, firmware/scripting (Python, C/C++). • Experience with PCB/FPGA/IC test flows and programmable logic. • Data analysis and root‑cause investigation skills. • Effective communication, written and verbal; cross‑functional stakeholder management. • Leadership experience, team building and coaching. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or related engineering discipline. • Industry certifications such as Certified Test Engineer (CTE), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent are desirable but not mandatory.
