Job Description

Job title: Project Manager Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end project delivery for a professional services team within an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP). Manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinate cross‑functional delivery teams, and ensure timely, budget‑compliant handover of Microsoft‑based solutions to clients. Expectations: - Deliver projects on scope, time, and quality targets. - Maintain clear, proactive communication with internal stakeholders and external clients. - Balance competing priorities across simultaneous engagements. - Facilitate remote client interactions while visiting sites as necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects from concept to production. - Define project requirements, deliverable timelines, and milestone schedules with project teams. - Manage third‑party suppliers, vendor contracts, and resource allocations. - Ensure comprehensive project documentation, risk registers, and status reporting at each phase. - Align projects with established frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) and quality standards. Required Skills: - Proven Project Management experience within an IT MSP environment. - Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Leadership and critical‑thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Familiarity with the Microsoft product stack (Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, etc.). Required Education & Certifications: - Formal Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent) is advantageous. - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
