Job title: SysOps Engineer (M/F)
Role Summary:
Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers and virtualized infrastructure, manage multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), automate operational tasks, monitor system performance, enforce security controls, and provide advanced technical support while collaborating closely with DevOps, network, and security teams.
Expactations:
- Autonomous, proactive, and passionate about automation, scripting, and DevSecOps.
- Deep understanding of Linux (preferably OpenBSD, Ubuntu), containerization vs virtualization, and monitoring stack (Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana).
- Strong commitment to continuous learning, technical sharing, and staying current with emerging cloud and security technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and virtualized environments.
- Administer cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), optimize architectures to meet business needs.
- Develop and deploy automation scripts in Bash, Python, PowerShell to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Deploy and manage monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana) ensuring high availability.
- Implement and oversee security policies, rights management, and compliance across environments.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support, diagnose and resolve system and network incidents.
- Work collaboratively with DevOps, network, and security teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Skills:
- Linux system administration (Ubuntu, OpenBSD, CentOS, etc.).
- Cloud platform expertise: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell.
- Automation and DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC).
- Monitoring/observability tools: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Container orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Linux Foundation Certified Engineer (LFCE), or comparable.
- Experience in DevSecOps and security best practices.
