Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Terraform Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code solutions for multi-cloud environments, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable cloud operations. Own state management, automate deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services. **Expectations:** - Deliver production-ready Terraform modules at scale. - Manage state, remote backends, and workspace strategies. - Integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines. - Enforce cloud security, compliance, and least‑privilege access. - Troubleshoot infrastructure drift, deployment failures, and state issues. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS, Azure, or GCP. 2. Oversee Terraform state files, remote backends, and workspace organization. 3. Create version‑controlled change workflows and integrate with automated pipelines. 4. Collaborate with security and engineering groups to implement cloud security controls and governance policies. 5. Diagnose and resolve infrastructure drift, failed deployments, and state corruption. 6. Mentor junior engineers on Terraform best practices and code reviews. **Required Skills:** - Expert Terraform coding and modularization. - Deep knowledge of Terraform providers, backends, and dependency management. - Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. - CI/CD pipeline integration (Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar). - Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals and infrastructure governance. - Troubleshooting skills for state and deployment issues. **Nice to Have:** - Multi‑account or multi‑subscription cloud management. - Policy‑as‑code experience (OPA, Sentinel, tfsec). - GovCloud or regulated environment exposure. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional (preferred). ---
