**Job Title**
Community and Stakeholder Relations Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and execute communication and engagement strategies for major infrastructure and agency projects. Act as the primary liaison with clients, partners, and community stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging, sustained relationships, and achieving project KPIs.
**Expectations**
* Deliver high‑quality communications to support project objectives and meeting deadlines.
* Adapt to changing schedules, including evenings, weekends, and travel to client sites.
* Maintain professional, positive interactions that reinforce organizational values.
* Provide accurate meeting documentation and stakeholder interaction records.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement multi‑channel communication plans for client programs and projects.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, blog posts, brochures, Q&A documents, backgrounders, and other collateral.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate campaigns, events, and media outreach.
- Monitor and report on KPIs for media coverage, engagement, and internal communication effectiveness.
- Manage stakeholder engagement: schedule meetings, take minutes, produce reports, and track interactions using data entry software.
- Plan logistics for media events, ceremonies, and hospitality events.
- Support senior staff with issues management, crisis communications, and RFP responses.
- Perform research to build partner and interest‑holder lists and to inform engagement strategies.
**Required Skills**
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation ability.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content across channels.
- Ability to work under pressure, learn quickly, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong work ethic, self‑directed, and dependable in meeting commitments.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or diploma) in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Community and Stakeholder Relations Manager or in a comparable role.
- Experience in an agency or similar environment is a major asset.
