**Job Title**
Supervisor, Data Center
**Role Summary**
Lead and supervise ISP cable installation (fiber & copper) for data center projects nationwide. Oversee installation, testing, certification, and documentation while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**
1. Execute expert fiber and copper cable installation, termination, and dressing.
2. Add/remove powered and non‑powered cables and equipment per project scope (racks, cabinets, etc.).
3. Perform fiber splicing, scoping, testing, and certification; validate cabling integrity.
4. Apply data‑center infrastructure knowledge (hot/cold aisle containment, cabinet airflow, cabling standards).
5. Conduct Central Office Frame verification and IDC termination (66/110/LSA blocks).
6. Install and terminate secondary DC power equipment into active power bays.
7. Produce redline drawings, test results, and other deliverables for PM and customer approval.
8. Partner with construction management to monitor time, materials, documentation, tools, and subcontractors.
9. Lead, coach, and train crew members, enforcing safety, quality, and performance standards.
10. Communicate effectively with customers, crews, subcontractors, and resolve issues.
11. Participate in company culture initiatives and safety presentations.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced fiber and copper cable installation, termination, and testing.
- Data‑center cabling, containment, and airflow expertise.
- Central Office Frame and IDC termination skills.
- Proficiency in cable testing tools (pair scanners, splicers, certifiers).
- Strong leadership, training, and team‑building abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong safety mindset and incident prevention.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- 6–10 years of ISP cable installation experience (fiber & copper).
- 2+ years of data‑center build‑out experience.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationwide.
- Certifications: FCC Class A or B, or equivalent cable installation credentials preferred.
