Job Description
Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer (Growth) Role Summary Design, build, and maintain member‑facing products and internal systems that drive acquisition, activation, and retention. Work closely with Growth product and design teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality code across Python (Django/FastAPI), React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Expectations - Own end‑to‑end feature development from concept to post‑launch support. - Make architectural decisions that enable rapid scaling and maintainability. - Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, learning‑oriented culture. - Balance technical excellence with product impact, ensuring a seamless user journey. Key Responsibilities 1. Build end‑to‑end product features in partnership with Growth product and design teams. 2. Write clean, maintainable, and testable Python and TypeScript code. 3. Collaborate on system architecture to support scalability and reliability. 4. Mentor peers, promote code quality, and lead by example. 5. Own the full lifecycle of features: design, implementation, launch, and post‑production support. 6. Drive initiatives that expand the member base and improve activation flows. 7. Integrate emerging AI/ML capabilities (LLM, LangChain, vector databases) to enhance product experience. 8. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability. Required Skills - 3+ years of professional full‑stack development experience, with a strong focus on backend (Python, Django). - Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, React, TypeScript, and AWS services. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless/managed infrastructure. - Experience with Next.js and modern JavaScript tooling. - Ability to work with AI/ML tools (OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, LangChain/LangGraph). - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Demonstrated ownership and urgency in delivering high‑impact features. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications in cloud (AWS Certified Developer/Architect) or web development are a plus.
