Job Title: AI Research Internship Role Summary: 3‑month paid internship for graduate students in CS/ML/NLP to design and implement semantic caching and embedding‑based retrieval systems, experiment with state‑of‑the‑art NLP models, and contribute to research that may lead to publications. Expactations: Deliver functional prototypes, conduct experiments, document results, and collaborate with a research team on cutting‑edge NLP research, aiming for publishable quality work. Key Responsibilities - Design and prototype advanced semantic caching architectures. - Develop and optimize embedding‑based retrieval mechanisms. - Experiment with and evaluate state‑of‑the‑art NLP models, LLMs, RAGs, and agentic systems. - Collaborate on reusable research code and maintain experiments in ML frameworks. - Prepare research findings for potential conference or journal submission. Required Skills - Strong background in Natural Language Processing. - Hands‑on experience with embedding‑based retrieval, representation learning, or reliable LLM/RAG/Agentic systems. - Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face libraries. - Familiarity with vector databases, similarity search, and modern ML workflows. - Ability to write clean, well‑documented code and experiment logs. Bonus Points - Fine‑tuning embedding models. - Published NLP or representation‑learning papers. - Experience with vector‑search systems (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS). Required Education & Certifications - Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or related discipline. - No specific certifications required.
