Job Description
**Job Title** Product Specialist **Role Summary** Responsible for driving profitable growth of the Emergency Lighting portfolio in North America. Defines product roadmaps, marketing plans, and supports sales through product knowledge, demos, and technical guidance. **Expectations** - Achieve profitable product lifecycle management (development, launch, pricing, and maintenance). - Translate technical product details into clear customer benefits. - Deliver timely, data‑driven insights to shape product strategy and market positioning. - Collaborate across sales, marketing, and product development teams to deliver integrated solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain expert knowledge of assigned products, features, and benefits. - Serve as primary contact for product inquiries from sales, customers, and internal stakeholders. - Support sales through demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations. - Collaborate with marketing to create product messaging, collateral, and training materials. - Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and roadmap decisions. - Conduct market research and competitive analysis. - Assist product launches, including training sessions and customer onboarding. - Provide field insights to product development teams. - Track product performance metrics and prepare regular performance reports. **Required Skills** - Minimum of 2 years product‑development or related experience (product support, product management, commercial engineering). - Knowledge of electrical, electronic, or electromechanical components and systems. - Strong understanding of product lifecycle management. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities. - Ability to translate technical information into customer‑centric value propositions. - Proficiency with CRM systems and project‑management tools. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
