Job Description: **Job Title** Network Engineer **Role Summary** Design, implement, and maintain complex network solutions for a federal litigation support environment. Lead system integration, security, and disaster recovery initiatives while ensuring compliance with civil rights and government regulations. **Expectations** - 5+ years of end‑to‑end network engineering experience. - Proven expertise with Aruba and Cisco hardware, operating systems, and switches. - Authorized public trust clearance at hire. - Ability to manage contractor teams and coordinate with DOJ COR, case managers, and IT staff. - Deliver user training and comprehensive documentation. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Analyze large, litigation‑focused network requirements. 2. Recommend and architect hardware, software, and telecom solutions. 3. Procure, install, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and document all network components. 4. Develop and enforce security measures, including firewalls and disaster recovery strategies. 5. Create system operation protocols and maintenance plans. 6. Lead and supervise contractor personnel on project tasks. 7. Coordinate with government stakeholders (COR, case managers, IT) throughout design and implementation phases. 8. Provide progress reports and detailed system documentation. **Required Skills** - Full‑cycle network engineering (design to maintenance). - Hands‑on experience with Aruba and Cisco equipment and operating systems. - Network security planning and implementation. - Troubleshooting and testing of complex network environments. - Strong documentation and training abilities. - Leadership and coordination of cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field. - Valid public trust clearance (or eligibility for clearance). - Professional certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP, Aruba Certified Network Engineer, or equivalent.
