**Job Title**
Salesforce Engineering Manager
**Role Summary**
Spearhead a high‑performing Salesforce team to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions that align with business objectives. Provide technical leadership, set architecture standards, integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems, and drive adoption through best practices and change management.
**Expectations**
- Deliver robust, maintainable Salesforce applications (Apex, Lightning, CPQ) on schedule.
- Align Salesforce strategy with overall company goals and revenue operations.
- Maintain high code quality, performance, and user satisfaction.
- Demonstrate measurable impact through defined KPIs (e.g., deployment frequency, defect rates, system uptime).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Salesforce developers and admins.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices.
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of Salesforce projects: design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑release support.
- Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with ERP, billing, contract mgmt, and other critical systems.
- Translate complex business requirements (QTC, GTM) into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with product, business analysis, and revenue teams.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables; conduct regular status reviews.
- Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code maintainability.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends; evangelize relevant improvements.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives – root‑cause analysis, process refinement, and knowledge sharing.
- Partner with business leadership to create a Salesforce roadmap aligning with strategic initiatives.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of new team members.

- Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture: Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, CPQ, and integration patterns.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with ERP and other enterprise platforms.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical design and deliverables.
- Skilled in code review, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and change‑management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Jira, continuous integration, and deployment practices.
- Knowledge of Salesforce release cadence and new feature evaluation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7 years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
- Salesforce Certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, CPQ Specialist, and/or Technical Architect are highly preferred.
