Job title: Information Security Engineer
Role Summary: Engineer and harden SAP‑centric applications, APIs, and cloud environments while overseeing the entire application lifecycle and integrating security into DevOps.
Expactations: 24/7 on‑call availability, occasional international travel (≤5 %).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP and front‑end applications (JavaScript, SAP Fiori, ABAP).
- Implement and audit API security, governance, and best practices.
- Manage incident, problem, and change processes; support SAP migration to cloud.
- Apply NIST/ISO 27001 controls, perform risk and vulnerability assessments, and enforce mitigation strategies.
- Monitor security events, investigate breaches, and conduct forensic analysis.
- Deliver compliance reporting to senior management and coordinate with DevOps for secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide guidance on data protection, encryption, DLP, and monitoring for cloud assets.
Required Skills:
- Strong SAP ABAP, JavaScript, and front‑end development expertise.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, API design, and cloud integration.
- Proficiency in NIST/ISO 27001 frameworks, risk assessment, vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and security automation.
- Incident response, forensic analysis, and threat hunting capabilities.
- Excellent communication for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Master’s (or foreign equivalent) in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field + 3 yrs experience; OR Bachelor’s + 5 yrs experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, SAP Security, TOGAF, ITIL) are preferred.
