**Job Title** Business Development Manager – ML Technologies – Drug Discovery **Role Summary** Drive growth of AI‑driven biotechnology solutions by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the ML and drug discovery space. Lead market research, lead generation, and partnership development, especially with large language model vendors, to expand the company’s presence in therapeutic target discovery and molecular design. **Expectations** - Achieve quarterly and annual lead‑generation and partnership targets. - Deliver high‑quality customer engagement and proposals. - Independently manage stakeholder communications in a remote or hybrid environment. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Conduct market analysis and trend assessment to identify strategic opportunities. 2. Generate qualified leads and pursue new clients in AI‑driven drug discovery. 3. Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, vendors, and clients. 4. Prepare and present business proposals and technical briefings to diverse audiences. 5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align commercial strategy with product development. 6. Track and report on pipeline progress, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences. - Proven lead generation and market research experience in AI/ML biotechnology or healthcare. - Customer‑service orientation and relationship‑building proficiency. - Familiarity with machine learning, generative AI, and large language models in a biotech context. - Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently. - Minimum of 2+ years of business‑development experience. - Valid work authorization in Canada. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field (advanced degrees considered an asset).
