**Job title:** Energy & Utilities Development Projects Intern (Business Development) (F/M)
**Role Summary:**
Assist lead partners in commercial and administrative account management for Energy & Utilities clients, support bid responses, conduct market studies, build credential packs, analyze KPIs, coordinate annual account planning, and update client databases. Facilitate marketing and community engagement initiatives, produce sector studies, arrange internal forums, drive social media presence, and ensure marketing plans are executed within the French Energy & Utilities sector.
**Expectations:**
- Work under a senior partner’s guidance on commercial, market, and marketing projects.
- Maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and communicate progress across internal teams.
- Deliver high‑quality reports, studies, and communication materials.
- Operate effectively in a cross‑functional environment with internal experts, marketing, and international colleagues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Support Lead Partners in commercial and administrative management of Energy & Utilities accounts.
2. Assist in responding to audit and advisory tenders.
3. Identify and map potential clients and opportunities; conduct market research.
4. Build credential packs using winning engagements and client references.
5. Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly reporting; track KPIs and provide updates for the sector.
6. Coordinate annual account planning for priority accounts.
7. Update and refine presentation materials showcasing key offers and references.
8. Maintain and update the priority client database.
9. Coordinate project progress with experts, marketing, communications, sector leads, and international teams.
10. Contribute to writing and publishing sector studies (e.g., offshore wind, global energy review).
11. Organize internal sector forums, workshops, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
12. Animate the KPMG France sector community and promote collaboration between business lines (Audit, Advisory, Legal).
13. Execute sector‑specific marketing plans, answer queries from the community, and improve visibility on LinkedIn and internal/external platforms (posts, videos, webinars).
**Required Skills:**
- Commercial and business development aptitude.
- Data analysis and market research competence.
- Written and verbal communication, including drafting studies and marketing content.
- Project management and prioritization.
- Team collaboration and proactive engagement.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Operational knowledge of web tools and social media platforms.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s level (Bac +4/5) university or business/engineering school, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated interest in business development, data analysis, internal and external communication, project management, research writing, and the Energy sector.
- Operational English proficiency.
