**Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software applications. Lead architectural decisions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure high‑quality, secure, and performant code in an agile environment.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#).
- Ability to work independently, mentor junior developers, and communicate effectively with product, design, and operations teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, build, and sustain scalable software solutions.
- Define and deliver new features in partnership with product managers and designers.
- Own architectural decisions and contribute to technical direction.
- Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and performant.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand‑ups).
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
**Required Skills:**
- Expertise in modern programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#).
- Experience with contemporary frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, .NET Core, Django, Node.js).
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices: design patterns, unit/integration testing, version control (Git).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Problem‑solving and analytical mindset.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker/Kubernetes, and microservices (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate) are a plus but not mandatory.
