Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise security solutions. Mentor a cybersecurity team, drive risk mitigation, and ensure compliance across all business units. Expactations: - Deliver robust security architectures aligned with business goals. - Provide technical leadership and foster continuous improvement. - Respond to incidents, perform threat analysis, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop long‑term security strategy, evaluate new technologies, and recommend solutions. - Design and implement secure architectures for hardware and software environments. - Maintain security standards, collaborate with cloud and architectural teams. - Review, approve, and manage application security configurations. - Mentor and lead cybersecurity staff; promote best practices. - Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and remediation planning. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and lead audit preparations. - Participate in on‑call rotation for incident response; evaluate gaps via ATT&CK framework. - Produce incident response plans, coordinate escalation, and conduct post‑incident reviews. - Document security configurations, incidents, and produce management reports. Required Skills: - Network, operating systems, and security technology expertise. - Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell scripting. - Experience with email security gateways (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal). - Experience with firewalls (Cisco FTD, Palo Alto NGFW). - Experience with SIEM solutions (Exabeam, Splunk, Sumo Logic). - Experience with endpoint protection (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred). - Professional certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent highly desirable.
