Job Description
**Job Title** Junior Merchandiser **Role Summary** Support the Global Buying & Merchandising team by managing inventory performance, sales analysis, and outlet planning across EMEA. Report to the Senior Global Planning Manager and contribute to sales optimisation and inventory control within the Outlet network. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and annual sales & inventory reports. - Proactively recommend stock actions (re‑buys, sell‑backs, re‑phasing) to maintain optimal levels. - Present findings at trade calls and influence cross‑functional decisions. - Develop and execute outlet strategy, pricing, and markdown plans. - Support financial budgets, forecasts, and OTB/ WSSI reconciliation. **Key Responsibilities** - Review and analyse outlet turnover, inventory, cover, and margin. - Recommend re‑buy, sell‑back, and intake re‑phasing for Made For Outlet, Markdown, and Full Price. - Plan and adjust IDS levels during the season. - Attend trade calls and present performance data. - Build relationships with Store Managers, Area Managers, Marketing, and VM to improve performance. - Identify inventory consolidations and opportunities; drive solutions with stakeholders. - Revise existing processes (logistics, deliveries, transfers) and update decision‑making tools. - Create annual outlet strategy and action plan; collaborate with SGPM on product and pricing. - Forecast, re‑forecast, and monitor Made For Outlet stock; manage markdown strategy. - Conduct store visits to assess competition and identify opportunities. - Maintain outlet product launch calendar and communicate key trading periods. - Support SGPM with budgeting, quarterly re‐forecasts, and revenue reconciliation. - Maintain OTB and WSSI; liaise with Full Price team for product flow data. - Develop and refine reporting tools. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and planning abilities. - Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Effective presentation and stakeholder engagement. - Customer‑focused mindset. - Ability to adapt to change. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field (preferred). - No specific certifications required, though knowledge of retail analytics tools is advantageous. ---
