Job Description
**Job title**: Consultant **Role Summary**: Deliver client‑facing consulting services in cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk, and technology. Lead assessments, tabletop exercises, policy design, and stakeholder workshops to strengthen clients’ security posture across municipal, postsecondary, and other sectors. **Expectations**: • 3‑5 + years in professional services, consulting, or cybersecurity roles. • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. • Strong facilitation, written communication, and presentation skills. **Key Responsibilities**: 1. Lead project components covering strategy, governance, and technology. 2. Conduct cybersecurity and IT governance assessments. 3. Design and execute tabletop exercises, risk scenarios, and incident simulations. 4. Develop security policies, governance frameworks, and control recommendations aligned with industry standards. 5. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to gather insights and present findings. 6. Draft executive summaries, reports, policies, and other deliverables for technical and non‑technical audiences. 7. Collaborate with business, technical, and compliance experts on engagements. 8. Assist in proposal development and internal materials creation. **Required Skills**: - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication, with facilitation experience. - In‑depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance models, and control frameworks. - Capability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power BI, Visio, or similar tools is an asset. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology Management, Information Systems, or related field. - Preferred certifications: ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), CISSP, GIAC GSEC, GIAC GCI, CLIC, PMP, CAPM.
