Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native tools for globally distributed trading and research systems. Optimize performance, monitor production environments, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, high‑throughput operations in a fast‑paced, high‑impact setting. **Expactations:** - 3+ years of experience with large‑scale, distributed systems, preferably on cloud platforms. - Proven ability to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring processes. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑moving team environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement CI/CD solutions, including Kubernetes orchestration and Terraform provisioning. - Benchmark, tune, and optimize critical software services for global performance. - Build and maintain real‑time monitoring and alerting for production trading systems. - Support and administer high‑performance databases (relational and columnar). - Deploy and manage workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and manage IAM permissions. - Develop automation scripts, developer tools, and CLIs using Python, Bash/Shell, and SQL. - Collaborate with trading and research teams to deploy and support mission‑critical applications. **Required Skills:** - Python development on Linux with a focus on automation. - CI/CD pipeline creation and management; Kubernetes cluster administration. - Terraform for infrastructure as code; GCP IAM and resource tagging. - Performance tuning/optimization of services and systems. - SQL, Bash/Shell scripting; experience with relational and columnar databases. - Familiarity with streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka) and backup/deployment automation. - Experience managing VM fleets, metrics collection, alert configuration, and log ingestion. - Strong analytical mindset, excellent verbal and written communication, and team‑player attitude. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.
