Job Description
Job title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain scalable, low‑latency infrastructure that powers AI inference pipelines, backend APIs, and enterprise integrations. Ensure high reliability, observability, and developer velocity across distributed systems. Expectations: • Lead technical strategy for cloud, networking, and cost optimization. • Mentor and coach peer engineers. • Own cross‑functional projects, set and enforce SLAs/SLIs/SLOs. • Drive long‑term infrastructure roadmap and platform improvements. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and operate scalable LLM inference and caching infrastructure. • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters with Helm, Terraform, or Pulumi. • Define and monitor SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs for core services. • Build CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling to accelerate deployments. • Collaborate with ML and backend teams to productionize models, schedule GPU resources, and autoscale services. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate incidents to maintain high availability. • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews. Required Skills: • 6–8+ years in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering. • Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments. • Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Helm charts. • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation). • Proficient in scripting/ programming (Python, Go, Bash). • Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning. • Hands‑on experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Cloud certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect. • Familiarity with Kubernetes and IaC certifications advantageous.
