Responsibilities include collaborating with product teams to optimize architectural patterns and infrastructure. **Expectations**: Demonstrated leadership in technical projects, initiative in architectural design, and the ability to independently drive solutions to complex engineering challenges. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design and maintain APIs, frameworks, and developer tools for frontend infrastructure. - Provide architectural guidance to product teams for high-performing features. - Standardize data flow consistency and improve application observability. - Evolve Reverb’s web stack (Rails, React, GraphQL) to prioritize simplicity and reusability. - Reduce redundancy through shared patterns and abstractions. - Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical strategies with developer needs. - Participate in on-call rotation for system availability. **Required Skills**: - Strong expertise in web architecture, frontend/backend integration. - Mastery of JavaScript, React, Rails, and API design (REST/GraphQL). - Proven ability to lead technical projects with minimal oversight. - Excellent communication for documentation and cross-team collaboration. - Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS). **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field. - Demonstrated experience in software engineering roles.
