**Job Title:** Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide data engineering and analytical support to the Audience Team, turning raw audience and content data into actionable insights that influence programming, marketing, membership, and revenue strategies. **Expectations:** - Deliver clean, analysis-ready datasets and maintain accurate data pipelines. - Design and manage Tableau dashboards for KPI tracking and self‑service analytics. - Translate audience behavior into clear, actionable recommendations for cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain data pipelines in AWS (Redshift, S3, Lambda) and automate transformations using Python or equivalent scripting. - Create, document, and update Tableau dashboards for Programming, News, Membership, Development, and Sponsorship stakeholders. - Define, monitor, and report on core audience metrics (engagement, retention, content performance). - Collaborate with partners across the organization to align data tools with strategic goals. - Document pipeline logic, metric definitions, and data models to promote data literacy. - Advocate a data‑driven decision‑making culture through clear storytelling and rigorous analysis. **Required Skills:** - Advanced SQL proficiency; experience with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift or equivalent). - Python (or similar scripting language) for data transformation and automation. - Tableau development and dashboard design for business impact. - Familiarity with AWS services (Redshift, Lambda, S3, scheduled queries). - Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex data to technical and non‑technical audiences. - Curiosity about audience behavior and a mission‑driven mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). - No specific certifications required, though experience with Tableau, AWS, or Python is essential.
