Job Description
Job Title: Statistical Programmer Role Summary: Develop, validate, and maintain SAS-based statistical programs for clinical trial data, collaborating closely with biostatisticians and data managers to support regulatory and project deliverables. Expectations: Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) or equivalent in Statistics, Biostatistics, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, or related field; minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical laboratory or service organization; strong proficiency in SAS; rigorous, autonomous work style; excellent communication and teamwork skills; competent English language skills (written and spoken). Key Responsibilities: • Design, code, and debug statistical programs in SAS for data cleaning, analysis, and report generation. • Participate in data review sessions to ensure accuracy and completeness of data sets. • Produce statistical tables, figures, and listings in compliance with trial protocols and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with biostatisticians and data managers to interpret project specifications and deliver timely support. • Maintain and document program libraries, data dictionaries, and SOP adherence. • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines. Required Skills: Technical: Advanced SAS programming, data manipulation, SQL basics, familiarity with clinical data structures. Analytical: Problem‑solving, logical thinking, attention to detail. Communication: Clear written and verbal exchanges, teamwork orientation. Language: Working proficiency in English (minimum B2). Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, or a comparable discipline. Optional: SAS certification or equivalent advanced statistical programming credential.
