B2B Demand Generation Strategist
Role Summary
Develop and lead data‑driven, account‑based marketing (ABM) initiatives, partner activations, and events for a government client focused on economic sectors such as mining, agrifood, clean tech, manufacturing, energy, and supply chains. Translate complex business priorities into actionable strategies, aligning cross‑functional teams and ensuring initiatives meet commercial objectives, audience insights, and measurable outcomes.
Expectations
Execute portfolio of ABM, event, and partner programs; provide strategic counsel throughout planning and execution phases; measure performance, synthesize insights, and recommend continuous optimization; maintain alignment with broader marketing and corporate goals; communicate clearly at executive level in English and French.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research, synthesize insights, and define audience/target account segmentation and value propositions.
- Lead end‑to‑end strategy development for ABM, events, and partner initiatives, establishing business context, objectives, metrics, and success criteria.
- Develop messaging hypotheses, channel approaches, and activation models grounded in customer pain points and sector dynamics.
- Engage stakeholders (marketing, sales, partners, agencies) to clarify scope, align priorities, and secure approvals.
- Provide strategic oversight during development and execution, reviewing briefs, concepts, and deliverables for fidelity to strategy.
- Enable internal teams and agencies with guardrails, success criteria, and clear direction.
- Monitor initiative performance against KPIs, synthesize program‑level insights, identify optimization opportunities, and drive iterative experimentation.
