**Job title:** System Engineer – Hydraulics / Power Shift Modules **Role Summary:** Engineer and validate automotive transmission systems, ensuring integration of hydraulic and power shift modules with mechanical, electrical, and software components. Drive system-level V‑cycle tests, documentation, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. **Expactations:** - Deliver complete subsystem specifications and architecture from product‑level requirements. - Manage Critical‑to‑Function (CTF) items and ensure traceability through the development cycle. - Coordinate technical decisions and maintain clear communication among stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Decompose product‑level requirements into subsystem requirements, specifications, and architecture. - Manage and update CTF items and document traceability. - Conduct system‑level V‑cycle testing, troubleshooting, and validation for reliability, safety, and performance. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and reports. - Liaise with embedded software, hardware, mechanical, hydraulic, and materials engineers for seamless integration. - Perform system analysis, modeling, and simulation (Matlab/Simulink, Vector CANape, etc.) to validate performance and compliance. - Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, risk assessments, and 8D/QRQC investigations during development, production, and after‑sales. - Support development of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity requirements. **Required Skills:** - Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. - Minimum 5 years in automotive engineering, preferably in transmission or related systems. - Strong background in mechanical design, manufacturing, and integration of software/control strategies. - Proficient in 5W2H, 8D problem solving, Six Sigma methodology. - Experience with system engineering tools: Matlab, Simulink, Vector CANape, Minitab, Polarion (requirement management). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree in Mechanical/Systems Engineering (or equivalent). - Certifications in Six Sigma (Green/Black) and Functional Safety (FMEA, ISO 26262) are highly desirable.
