Job Description: **Job Title:** Automation Specialist **Role Summary:** Design, refactor, implement, and validate HPE Operations Orchestration (OO) workflows to automate VM lifecycle operations for a global cloud/automation leader. Deliver fully tested content packs, updated documentation, and validation evidence within a 12‑month contract. **Expectations:** - Produce refactored OO content packs that meet functional and quality standards. - Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for each workflow. - Provide test results and validation evidence for all delivered flows. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams while working on‑site 2–3 days per week. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and enhance OO workflows for VM creation, modification, power management, decommissioning, and resource changes (disk, NIC, snapshots, CPU/memory). - Engineer, document, and test orchestration flows using supported APIs and integration mechanisms. - Ensure all workflows are version‑controlled and aligned with CI/CD practices. - Communicate progress, issues, and results to stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Strong experience with OpenText Cloud Service Automation (CSA) and HPE Operations Orchestration (OO) workflow development. - Proven API integration expertise. - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and JSON/YAML processing. - Familiarity with Git or other version‑control systems for automation workflows. - Ability to work in regulated enterprise environments (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, **or** equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., OpenText CSA, HPE OO, ITIL) are advantageous but not mandatory.
