Job Description
**Job Title** Platform Integration Specialist **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain integrations between enterprise architecture tooling platforms (e.g., Planview, ServiceNow, CMDB) and broader enterprise systems to enable automated data flow, reporting, and analytics. Lead API development, data transformation, and integration workflow creation while ensuring performance, security, and reliability. Collaborate with enterprise architects, application teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable integration solutions in a regulated financial services environment. **Expectations** - Deliver fully functional integration solutions within contract timelines. - Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and security across systems. - Provide clear documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to client teams. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration pipelines for maximum uptime. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement integration architecture between EA platforms and enterprise systems. - Build and maintain automated data synchronisation, extraction, and transformation workflows. - Define data mappings, transformation logic, and validation rules to guarantee consistency. - Develop and consume RESTful APIs, applying secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, tokens, service accounts). - Implement error handling, logging, reconciliation, and scheduling for integration processes. - Monitor scheduled jobs, configure alerts for failures or discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues. - Produce integration documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides. - Transfer integration knowledge to client teams and support release activities during upgrades. - Collaborate with architects, data owners, and application teams to gather requirements and coordinate changes. **Required Skills** - 3–5+ years of experience in integration, API development, or related technical roles. - Strong expertise in RESTful API design, authentication, and consumption. - Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar). - Experience with JSON, XML, CSV, and data transformation. - SQL/database knowledge for extraction and loading tasks. - Familiarity with enterprise architecture tooling data models and integration patterns. - Understanding of job scheduling and orchestration (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Airflow). - Proven troubleshooting skills for complex integration issues in regulated environments. **Desirable Experience** - Integration with Planview, ServiceNow, or CMDB platforms. - Exposure to BiZZdesign Enterprise Studio API or similar EA tools. - Knowledge of ArchiMate or EA frameworks. - Experience with messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus). - Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data warehousing or ETL concepts. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. - Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, or Certified Integration Professional (CIP) are advantageous (not mandatory).
