**Job title** Audit & Assurance Intern – Summer 2027 **Role Summary** Provide audit support on engagement teams across varied industries. Execute audit procedures for cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payroll and expense items, under direction of senior staff. Participate in client interactions, internal training, and professional development as part of a team‑based environment. **Expectations** - Full‑time commitment for the summer term, including additional hours and client site travel. - Regular attendance in‑office at least twice a week. - Maintain U.S. work authorization without need for visa sponsorship. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform audit procedures for transaction cycles: cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income/expenses. - Utilize audit software and electronic databases to research issues and review data. - Identify audit findings, assess risk, and communicate concerns to senior staff. - Collaborate with client teams and internal partners, building professional relationships. - Participate in all engagement phases: planning, fieldwork, reporting, and client meetings. - Engage in mentorship, peer networking, and team‑building activities. - Contribute to community outreach and leadership development initiatives. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with audit‑related software preferred. - Project management skills: planning, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines. - Ability to work efficiently in a team, adapt to new tasks, and handle multiple engagements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Accounting (or related field). - Minimum overall and major GPA of 3.0/4.0 (preferred). - No additional certifications required. ---
