Job Description
Job Title: Head of Technology Infrastructure & Operations Role Summary: Lead the end‑to‑end design, implementation, and governance of IT and OT technology infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant operations that support corporate and field objectives. Expectations: - Deliver resilient, secure, and scalable technology solutions for corporate, plant, and field environments. - Develop and mentor a technology team that operates with autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Align technology initiatives with business priorities, maintaining transparency with senior leadership and cross‑functional partners. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of networks, servers, storage, OT systems, ERP, MES, SCADA, and cloud environments. - Implement asset management, monitoring, vulnerability management, and remote site visibility tools to reduce downtime and enhance uptime. - Standardize infrastructure to minimize outages and ensure high availability. - Enhance service desk operations using ITIL processes, define SLAs, and report on performance. - Create self‑service tools and dashboards to improve end‑user satisfaction and operational visibility. - Develop, enforce, and audit technology policies, procedures, and standards to meet SOX, SOD, and other regulatory requirements. - Lead field‑technology projects from concept to completion, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. - Mentor and upskill field technology staff, establishing clear career paths and reducing knowledge silos. - Collaborate with senior management and peer leaders to align technology strategy with business objectives. - Manage vendor, contractor, and consultant relationships to achieve cost‑effective, resilient solutions. - Evaluate emerging technologies to optimize manufacturing, logistics, and overall operational efficiency. Required Skills: - 10+ years of progressive IT leadership, with large‑scale infrastructure operations experience. - Deep knowledge of NOC operations, cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS), cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks (SOX, SOD, ITIL, NIST, ISO). - Strong project and portfolio management capabilities, including budgeting and delivery of complex technology rollouts. - Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and develop high‑performing technology teams. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interfacing with senior executives, technical staff, and external partners. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (Master’s preferred). - Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
