**Job title:**
SAP ABAP Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, test, and support ABAP-based solutions on SAP S/4HANA, leveraging Fiori/UI5, OData, and BRIM components. Integrate SAP with external systems (ServiceNow, REST/SOAP APIs) and maintain system performance, security, and upgrade readiness across multiple landscapes.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality, maintainable ABAP code within project timelines.
- Actively participate in design, code reviews, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and clean‑core principles.
- Provide post‑go‑live support and document all deliverables.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop WRICEF objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms) for S/4HANA and BRIM.
- Build and extend SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, including OData services, RAP models, and UI5 front‑end logic.
- Deploy a Fiori app on Zebra handheld scanners and integrate it with real‑time S/4HANA data.
- Create, configure, and troubleshoot OData, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML structures, RFCs, and web services.
- Integrate SAP with ServiceNow (or other ITSM tools) via MID Server, REST, and SOAP.
- Configure authentication (OAuth2, Basic Auth, SSL certificates) for all external connections.
- Maintain SAP BTP environments, including Business Application Studio and cloud services.
- Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization.
- Participate in transport management, impact analysis, and release activities.
- Collaborate with functional teams (FI/CO, MM, BRIM/SOM/CI/CC) to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Document designs, test plans, impact assessments, and post‑implementation reviews.
**Required Skills:**
- 7+ years SAP ABAP (OO‑ABAP, BADIs, user exits, enhancements).
- 2+ years SAP Fiori/UI5 (controller, model, view architecture, Fiori Elements).
- SAP S/4HANA implementation/upgrade experience.
- OData service development (classical & RAP).
- REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, RFC, and web service configuration.
- Authentication protocols (OAuth2, Basic Auth, SSL).
- SAP BTP, Business Application Studio, cloud services.
- SAP CRM Web UI / CRM_UI, GENIL/BOL, One Order framework.
- SAP BRIM/SOM/CI/CC.
- SAP Fiori app deployment on handheld devices.
- Strong problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP for SAP HANA.
- SAP Fiori Application Developer Certification (preferred).
- SAP S/4HANA Development Certification (preferred).
- SAP BRIM technical certifications (preferred).
