Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable, high‑performance delivery of containerized applications in a fast‑growing, data‑driven environment. **Expectations:** - Drive continuous improvement of deployment processes and system reliability. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship on DevOps best practices. - Quickly adapt to changing business priorities and pivot project focus as needed. - Ensure security compliance across all environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions). - Containerize applications and orchestrate deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. - Manage and optimize Linux servers and Nginx web servers for performance and availability. - Monitor system health; implement scaling and reliability enhancements. - Troubleshoot production incidents in collaboration with developers. - Enforce infrastructure security standards and conduct regular audits. - Evaluate, prototype, and integrate emerging tools to improve efficiency. - Mentor team members on DevOps tooling, IaC, and automation practices. **Required Skills:** - Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline tools. - Strong command of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and version control (Git). - Proficient in Linux system administration and Bash scripting. - Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and Vue.js (ability to read/modify code). - Solid debugging and problem‑solving across full stack. - Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Laravel ORM best practices. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Docker Certified Associate, AWS/GCP/Azure certifications) are a plus but not mandatory.
