**Job Title:** Senior IT Manager
**Role Summary:**
Oversee and optimize Fort Robotics’ internal IT infrastructure across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments. Lead security, network, and application support initiatives, ensuring seamless operations for engineering, testing, and operations teams while maintaining compliance with SOC2, ISO 27001, and NIST standards.
**Expectations:**
- Maintain high availability and performance of IT systems.
- Protect data and assets through proactive security measures.
- Drive continuous improvement of IT processes and automation.
- Serve as a technical leader, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage and support end‑user devices, servers, and miscellaneous hardware.
- Architect, configure, and maintain VPN, hybrid cloud/on‑premises networks, and remote‑access solutions.
- Implement and enforce network and endpoint security policies; conduct threat‑monitoring and vulnerability remediation.
- Lead helpdesk administration: advanced desktop support, account management (Google Suite), password reset protocols, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Automate IT processes via scripting and deployment tools.
- Document infrastructure, processes, and network topographies for compliance and audit readiness.
- Coordinate with engineering, test, and operations teams to align IT capabilities with development roadmaps.
- Evaluate, recommend, and deploy cloud‑platform solutions.
- Lead IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and resource planning.
**Required Skills:**
- 8+ years of IT management in mixed‑platform environments (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Expertise in desktop support, server administration, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and DevOps practices preferable.
- Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Proven track record in IT security implementation and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project‑management abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, or equivalent) are a plus.
