Job title: Principal Salesforce Engineer (Sales Cloud)
Role Summary: Own the architecture, development, and strategic guidance of Sales Cloud solutions. Deliver high‑quality, scalable Salesforce applications while partnering with senior sales leaders to shape pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity management processes.
Expectations: • Deliver complex, enterprise‑grade Salesforce solutions (Apex, LWC, Flow, integrations) in a public cloud environment. • Translate RevOps and sales leadership requirements into actionable, revenue‑impacting designs. • Influence and coach VP/Director levels on best‑practice sales processes and dashboard metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales Cloud domain strategy for VP‑ and Director‑level sales executives.
- Design, build, and maintain Apex classes/ triggers, LWCs, and advanced Flows; create record‑triggered flows, orchestrations, platform events, and middleware integrations.
- Define and enforce technical design standards, data architecture, and performance guidelines.
- Mentor a small engineering team and collaborate across RevOps, Marketing Ops, and CS Ops.
- Build reporting and dashboards to provide real‑time pipeline health and deal‑movement visibility.
- Drive adoption of Sales Cloud across the GTM organization and ensure effective usage.
- Engage directly with senior sales stakeholders to guide pipeline inspection, forecasting, and opportunity lifecycle design.
Required Skills:
- Domain: Deep expertise in Sales Cloud – opportunity management, pipeline structure, forecasting, qualification, KPI reporting, and pipeline inspection.
- Technical: 7–12+ years of Salesforce development; Apex (classes, triggers, async, bulk), Lightning Web Components, advanced Flow, record‑triggered automation, platform events, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware integration patterns.
- Architecture & design: Ability to build scalable, maintainable systems and define technical direction.
- Leadership: Experience influencing senior executives, translating technical detail into clear, actionable guidance, and managing stakeholder expectations.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant) strongly preferred.
