Job Description: Job title: Business Intelligence and Data Developer Role Summary: Develop and maintain business intelligence applications to generate actionable insights. Design data models, create reports, ensure data integrity, and support strategic decision-making through data analysis. Collaborate across teams to enhance data infrastructure and resolve complex analytical challenges. Expactations: - 4+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting - College/University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) - Experience in insurance/financial services industry preferred - Background working with structured and unstructured data beneficial Key Responsibilities: - Design/develop BI reporting tools, data models, and visualizations - Implement business logic and quality control for reporting infrastructure - Audit data integrity using BI tools and SQL queries - Partner with stakeholders to extract business insights - Create/maintain automated reports for decision-making - Lead analytic projects from specification to delivery - Analyze databases to ensure data quality - Build/test data models and manage data structures - Automate recurring data management tasks - Implement ETL processes for data warehouses - Resolve cross-departmental data quality issues Required Skills: - Expert proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and ETL processes - Strong experience with Power BI, SQL Server, Excel, SSIS, and SSRS - Expertise in relational and multidimensional data modeling - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
